Are you ready to streamline and organise your makeup kit like a pro but don't know where to start? Join us for "The Art Of De-potting Masterclass", a 4.5-hour hands-on session designed for makeup artists who want to declutter, downsize, and depot their kits to make them lighter and more efficient to work from.

What to Expect: 
  • First Hour: Watch live demonstrations on de-potting eyeshadows from plastic cardboard palettes, de-potting lipsticks, and concealers, plus a brief introduction to re-pressing eyeshadows. (this will be demonstrated, but you won’t be doing this part in the hands-on session)
  • 30-Minute Break: Refresh with provided drinks and food.
  • 3 Hour Hands-On De-potting Session: De-pot your own products with Merton’s guidance. Get personalised advice on what to depot, what to keep in its original package, and how to organise your kit more efficiently.​

Location: Studio Hardwick- Studio 5. 459-475 Sydney Road, Brunswick Vic 3056. Entry via blue door on Ballarat St. Parking available on Victoria St. 

Duration: Approx 4.5hrs (1hr Demo + 3hour hands on session) (30min break)
  • 5pm Start Time
  • 5pm to 6pm- De-pot Demonstation (1hr)
  • 6pm to 6:30pm- Meal Break (30min)
  • 6:30 to 9:30pm- Hands-on de-pot session (3hrs) Includes pack-up time.​

If you'd like to purchase more de-potting supplies, we’ll have a checklist available on the day to help you note any additional products you might need. What You’ll Need to Bring
  • Your professional makeup kit- The products you'd like to de-pot during the class. 
  • If you already have your own or extra depot containers or palettes feel free to bring them along on the day.
  • Tweezers
  • ​Label maker
Additional Details 
A heat source will be provided for melting palettes, as well a magnet handle,  paper towels, tissues, 70% Alcohol for your tools, hand sanitiser, cotton tips and a sharpie to take note of your products.
