During the 5 hour session, Merton will share over 18 years of professional experience as a certified educator and a top makeup artist, including his passion for makeup products, his methodology and tricks of the trade. Learn how to take a more artistic approach to the application of makeup, while Merton shows you how to create one of his signature wing eyeliner looks - Furthermore, showing you how to film, photograph and edit your masterpiece ready for social media. Merton will also share with you the elements on how to become a successful makeup artist and how to stand out in the industry by creating content that helps your business grow and capture the attention of potential clients. This class will have you refining your skills and learning how to put your best foot forward to run a thriving business. Merton's masterclass is a hands on workshop. Merton will demonstrate one of his signature wing eyeliner makeup looks. Whilst sharing all his knowledge on how to best capture your work to present on your social channels. Makeup artists then practice a look on their model for 2.5 hours to refine their technique, while Merton provides further guidance and teachings. Artist then learn to take photo's of their creations to create content for their social media.

Duration: Approx 5hrs + (2 hour tutorial)
What to bring: Makeup brushes, someone to work your magic on (A model or friend), makeup kit, camera or phone, notebook, stationery, makeup chair (Melbourne & Brisbane attendees only), creativity, humour, and professionalism.
Light refreshments and snacks provided on the day.
Every participant will receive a makeup goodie bag valued over $100 to take home to enjoy.

- Start time: 10am Sharp
- 10am- 12pm. 2hr look and learn- Wing eyeliner application, video filming and taking photos.
- Afternoon break : 12:00pm to 12.30pm (30min)
- Your model to arrive at 12:30pm for an afternoon hands on practical session
- 12:30pm to 2:30 Artist get to work their magic. Create a wing liner look or another makeup design. whilst taking step by step videos.
- 10min break
- Artists learn how to take, select and edit photos for social media.
- Class Ends between 3:30pm - 4pm
